Mission Statement Deflect individuals with substance use disorders away from criminal justice involvement into treatment to help reduce drug usage, overdose deaths and collateral consequences of criminal justice sanctions.
Program Goals and Objectives
  1. Community Law Enforcement Partnership for Deflection and Substance Use Disorder Treatment (CLEP) Programs will facilitate treatment need assessments and referrals to community-based behavioral health for individuals with substance use disorders that come to the attention of law enforcement through 1) self-referral, 2) officer outreach/intervention, or 3) post-overdose response.
