Mission Statement To administer a statewide initiative to increase the number of apprentices on state funded appropriated projects and to utilizes pre-apprentice programs and bid credit programs to assist in reducing barriers to public works employment in the trades for historically underrepresented populations.
Program Goals and Objectives
  1. To increase the number of apprentices on state funded appropriated projects.
    1. To increase the number of qualified apprentices available in Illinois and create a pipeline into public works employment with a specific focus on increasing the number of construction trade workers within historically underrepresented populations.
