Agency Narrative
Per Public Act 102-0699, renewal fees for 1A Retail Licenses were waived for Fiscal Year 2023. ILCC lost an estimated $14 million in revenue from this renewal fee waiver program, which was implemented to ease the economic burden on licensed retailers recovering from the pandemic. The industry has shown growth in the last year as ILCC revenues surpassed their projections.
