2025 Nutrition Services
Mission Statement To provide nutritious meals, nutrition education, and other appropriate nutrition services for older adults in order to maintain health, independence, and quality of life. Meals and nutrition services are to be served in a congregate setting or delivered to the home, if the older adult is homebound.
Program Goals and Objectives
  1. The program aims to prevent and delay unnecessary institutionalization of older adults by providing nutrition that is also cost-efficient and effective.
    1. To operate nutrition projects that provide at least one hot or other appropriate meal per day to participants, five or more days per week. These can be at congregate sites or home-delivered meals.
