2025 Agriculture Products Inspection
Mission Statement Inspect feed, anhydrous ammonia, and other fertilizer products in order to protect growers, livestock owners, local communities, and the environment.
Program Goals and Objectives
  1. Provide timely and accurate laboratory results.
    1. Complete single and multiple ingredient lab analysis in a timely fashion.
  2. Provide comprehensive, consistent and clear requirements, policies and procedures.
    1. Ensure that feed and fertilizer products available in Illinois are safe and of high quality.
      1. Reduce instances of non-compliant products used.
      2. Maintain and enhance new lab capabilities.
    2. Maintain a regulatory compliant feed and fertilizer products processing and users industry.
      1. Increase percentage of sites rated compliant.
