| Mission Statement | Officers that hold the ranks of Trooper, Sergeant, Master Sergeant and Lieutenant are invited to participate in the promotional testing administrated by Illinois State Police Merit Board (ISPMB). Exams are given every twenty-four (24) months with Sergeant and Master Sergeant exams administered on even numbered years and Lieutenant and Captain exams administered on odd numbered years. | ||||
